Yukti, a daily logic puzzle at playyukti.com, asks nothing about who you are. There are no accounts. Your streak, results and settings stay in your browser. Yukti counts each solve anonymously, and Google shows non-personalised ads that keep it free. This page lists exactly what is kept, where, and how to delete it.
What does Yukti keep on my device?
Your streak, each day's result (steps, time, nudges and the shape of your route), puzzles in progress, and your theme. They live in your browser's storage (IndexedDB, or localStorage where that isn't available), with a small marker saying you've played here.
The app's own files are saved too, so the puzzle works offline.
What does Yukti receive?
When you solve a puzzle, a short anonymous note: the puzzle's number, its kind and level, how many steps you took, the shortest route, about how long it took (in bands such as 1 to 3 minutes) and how many nudges you used. Nothing in it says who you are or links one solve to another: no name, no ID, no cookie. We add the notes up into numbers such as how many players found the shortest route, and keep them for three months.
Players in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland aren't counted, until Yukti can ask you first. Practice rounds are never counted.
Yukti is served by Cloudflare, which has to handle each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page and keep the site safe. We don't keep request logs. If something breaks, we keep only the error itself, for a few days, never who you are.
Who else handles my data?
Cloudflare, our host, runs the site and handles requests for us under its data processing terms. Google shows the ads, and is responsible for what its ad code collects (see the ads question below). We share nothing with anyone else, and we never sell data.
What about the ads?
Yukti shows ads from Google AdSense, so it stays free. Ads never sit between the puzzle and its controls, and your progress, streak and settings stay in your browser either way.
Ads on Yukti are non-personalised: Google picks them from the page you're on, not from a profile of you. Google may still use cookies or similar storage to limit how often you see the same ad and to stop fraud.
In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's message asks you first, and saying no is as simple as saying yes. Change your answer any time with Privacy choices at the foot of the page. Saying no never stops you playing.

What about backup codes and reminders?
A backup code is made on your device from your results. Yukti never sees it unless you send it to us. The daily reminder is a calendar file made on your device; nothing is sent.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings, then Reset local data. Clearing this site's data in your browser does the same. We hold nothing of yours, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
What are my rights?
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and data protection laws in the EU and UK, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and name someone to act for you. We hold nothing about your play, so most answers will be short, but every request gets an answer within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the data protection authority where you live, such as the ICO in the UK.
Is Yukti for children?
Anyone can play. Yukti collects nothing that says who anyone is, children included, and never tracks anyone or shows ads aimed at them.
Who runs Yukti, and how do I get in touch?
Yukti is run by Heet Mehta in India. Write to hello@playyukti.com with any question about privacy.
